Role Description

The Medical Device Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position is responsible for promoting and selling dental aligner solutions and related medical devices to orthodontists and other dental professionals. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining relationships with clinicians, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, managing the sales pipeline, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth sales operations and customer support. The specialist will identify new business opportunities, follow up on leads, negotiate terms within company guidelines, and provide ongoing product education to clients. The role also involves tracking sales performance, gathering market insights, and contributing to strategies that expand The Aligner Company’s presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Medical Sales and Sales, with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
• Knowledge of Medical Devices and familiarity with their clinical use and regulatory considerations.
• Experience or exposure to Orthopedics or dental/orthodontic treatments, preferably in a commercial or clinical context.
• Skills in Sales Operations, including pipeline management, CRM usage, and basic sales reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for working with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work on-site in Indore, manage territory-based activities, and travel locally as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in dental, orthodontic, or medical device sales is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
