Job summary

AGS Health is seeking medical coders in India with CPC certification and at least 1 year of experience to review and code medical records. The role requires strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and anatomy, with the ability to interpret physician notes and follow client guidelines.

The position offers day shifts, health insurance, and PF benefits. Immediate joiners are preferred, with the opportunity to contribute to audits and reporting within a growing healthcare coding organization.

Qualifications

• Education: Life Science / Paramedical / Any Graduate.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant medical coding experience.
• Certification: CPC is mandatory.
• Additional Certifications: CIC / COC / CCS will be an added advantage.
• Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period preferred.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Medical Coding, ICD-10-CM and CPT.

• Relevant hands-on experience in ED / Surgery / Denials / IP-DRG Coding.
• Ability to accurately interpret medical documentation and physician notes.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer and reporting skills.
• Above-average verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a target-driven environment.
