Job summary

Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) in Bengaluru invites applications for a B1 Aircraft Mechanic to support aircraft maintenance within the TASL MRO facility. This role focuses on safe, timely execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on transport or military aircraft.

You will perform mechanical maintenance, inspections, servicing, removal/installation, and rectification while following approved manuals, maintaining documentation, and complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in aircraft maintenance or MRO.
• Exposure to transport or military aircraft preferable.
• C-130J/C-130 experience will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft mechanical maintenance, inspection, servicing, removal/installation and rectification activities.
• Work on airframe, engine, hydraulic, pneumatic, landing gear, flight control and related mechanical systems.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as per approved maintenance manuals and procedures.
• Diagnose defects and support troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment and maintenance documentation while adhering to FOD, safety and quality requirements.
• Work closely with Chargehands, Certifying Technicians, Quality and Planning teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with applicable aviation and organizational procedures.
