Job summary

Utkarsh Placement Pvt. Ltd. is hiring for a Mechanical Product Design / Value Engineering Lead for ATM R&D/Engineering near Vadodara, Gujarat. Requires B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience. CTC budget: 16–20 LPA.

The role emphasizes leading ATM safe product development from concept to mass production, with strong skills in sheet metal design, 3D modelling, and PLM systems.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical product design / value engineering lead roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in sheet metal product design and new product development.
• Expertise in 3D modelling, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and BOM preparation.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Inventor / SolidWorks / Solid Edge.
• Experience with PDM/PLM systems.
• Good understanding of CNC punching, laser cutting, bending, welding and assembly processes.
• Experience in design validation, engineering calculations, prototyping, testing and production implementation.
• Ability to independently lead design projects and coordinate with customers, vendors, certification agencies and cross-functional/global R&D teams.
• Experience in Value Engineering / cost optimization / design improvement.
• Ability to guide and coach junior design engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead ATM safe product development projects from concept through design, certification, prototype development and final handover to manufacturing for mass production.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, certification agencies and cross-functional/global R&D teams.
• Drive design validation, engineering calculations, prototyping and production readiness.
