Job summary

Aarti Industries in Gujarat, India seeks a Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) to oversee plant equipment maintenance and drive reliability. You will coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted operations and optimal performance of mechanical systems.

You will plan preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, review performance data, and lead troubleshooting during breakdowns while contributing to continuous improvement to reduce downtime and costs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical operations and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of plant equipment.
• Plan and coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, analyze failure trends, and implement corrective actions to reduce operational downtime.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance standards, safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company operating procedures.
• Coordinate with production, electrical, instrumentation, and engineering teams to support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Review maintenance reports, equipment history, spare inventory, and work order completion for operational effectiveness.
• Lead troubleshooting activities during equipment breakdowns and support commissioning of new mechanical installations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, maintenance optimization, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
