Sulzer is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support CAE activities for ORE, PD and CT projects globally. You will perform rotordynamic analyses, pump design calculations, and structural dynamic assessments using ANSYS Workbench to verify product integrity against standards.

Supports CAE activities for ORE, PD and CT projects globally. Compilation of mechanical analysis documentation provided to clients, proving the mechanical, rotordynamic and structural integrity of products, ensuring conformity to established industry, company standards and customer specifications
1. Rotordynamic analysis (Lateral and Torsional) of centrifugal pumps.
2. Pump design calculations as per international standards.
3. Structural and Dynamic analysis of Baseplate and Vertical Pump using ANSYS Workbench
4. Preparation & submission of calculation reports and coordinating for customer approvals.
5. Provide technical assistance to project team to solve possible discrepancies & review and issue and follow-up the comments on reports, specifications, etc.
6. Making design recommendations to provide acceptable rotordynamic level, behavior of pump and help to resolve difficult or unusual product design engineering problems.
7. Capable of performing routine mechanical engineering calculations and analysis.
