Job summary

Gentoro People Consulting in India is seeking mechanical engineers for junior or senior roles to support fabrication and erection on project sites.

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years of experience, capable of reading fabrication drawings, and proficient in welding, cutting, grinding, fit-up, and alignment. They must ensure quality standards, quantities, and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering with relevant site experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years for the role; junior 3 yrs, senior 5 yrs indicated.
• Good reading of mechanical fabrication drawings and documentation.
• Basic knowledge of welding, cutting, grinding, fit-up and alignment.
• Understanding of fabrication quality, inspection and steel weight reconciliation.
• Ability to verify quantities and billing measurements accurately.
• Strong communication and coordination skills; willingness to work at project/site locations.
• Eagerness to learn and operate under senior engineers.
