BRBS Reality in Hyderabad offers a Mechanical Engineering Internship spanning the full design-to-manufacturing lifecycle for smart IoT hardware. You will engage in CAD, material selection, vendor sourcing, in-house prototyping, and concept validation.

We seek hands-on problem-solvers who iterate rapidly, test concepts, and converge on viable solutions. The 6-month internship provides a monthly stipend of INR 25,000–30,000 and an in-office setup.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Are you a talented Mechanical Engineering student looking to gain real-world, end-to-end product experience? Join BRBS Reality and work across the full design-to-manufacturing lifecycle for our Smart IoT and construction-tech hardware not just CAD, but material selection, vendor sourcing, in-house prototyping, and hands-on concept validation.

We're looking for real problem-solvers people who can quickly iterate through multiple design approaches, test them, and converge on what actually works, rather than getting stuck refining a single concept.

What you'll do:

• Design and model hardware components using SolidWorks or Autodesk Fusion 360
• Rapidly iterate through multiple design approaches to solve open-ended mechanical problems
• Select and evaluate materials for performance, cost, and manufacturability
• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with vendors for prototyping and fabrication
• Build and test in-house prototypes; run concept validation and iterate on findings
• Travel locally to vendor/fabrication sites as needed to oversee prototype builds and quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design issues in collaboration with the engineering team
• Support testing and validation of finished products for quality and durability
• Document design processes, material specs, and vendor evaluations for future reference
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas
• Stay current on materials, manufacturing methods, and industry trends relevant to IoT hardware
