Job summary

Yash Group of Industries in Wai (Satara district) invites a Mechanical Engineer to optimize foundry operations, oversee equipment maintenance, molding and pattern designs, and automation upgrades for safety and efficiency on the production floor.

You will collaborate with metallurgy and quality teams, apply CAD tooling to improve patterns, ensure OSHA compliance, and drive continuous improvement with lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline is required.
• Strong understanding of casting processes (sand casting, investment casting) is required.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Maximize uptime for furnaces, molding lines, and sand systems.
• Process Optimization: Reduce scrap rates and cycle times through lean manufacturing.
• Tooling & Design: Review and improve pattern, mold, and core box designs using CAD software.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all machinery and operations meet OSHA and environmental standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work with metallurgy and quality control teams to solve casting defects.

• Role: Mechanical Engineer - Foundry Division
• Location: Wai Dist-Satara (Maharashtra)
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Experience Level: 2-5 years in a casting or heavy manufacturing environment
