Job summary

Yeemak Private Limited in Sriperumbudur seeks a Maintenance Engineer/Trainee to support plant machinery upkeep, prevent breakdowns and minimise downtime, ensuring smooth production operations and adherence to safety standards.

You will assist with preventive and breakdown maintenance, help senior engineers troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, maintain inspections and service reports, and coordinate with Production to reduce downtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Support senior engineers in identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine machine inspections and identify potential faults.
• Assist in maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, as applicable.
• Support machine installation, servicing and repair activities.
• Maintain maintenance checklists, breakdown records and service reports.
• Coordinate with the Production team to minimise machine downtime.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, 5S practices and maintenance standards.
