Job summary

Gruner Renewable Energy seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineering professional to lead mechanical design, engineering, and project execution from concept through commissioning. The role covers PAN India locations including Yavatmal, Solapur, and others, driving design reviews and value engineering.

You will coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, civil, and project management teams, review vendor documents, and mentor junior engineers to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in piping, pipeline, stainless pipes, tubing, CNG, NDT, execution and project management.
• Experience with EPC/CBG/CGT/refinery/petrochemical sectors.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design, engineering, and execution of projects from concept to commissioning.
• Prepare and review mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, civil, and project management teams.
• Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and perform technical bid evaluations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Support project planning, cost estimation, scheduling, and risk assessments.
• Identify design improvements, cost optimization opportunities, and value engineering initiatives.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, and technical audits.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout project execution.
