Job summary

Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited in Vadodara invites applications for Engineer / Sr. Engineer Mech Design Projects.

You will work with project consultants and the engineering team to design plant mechanical equipment and piping, ensuring compliance with current design standards and project specifications. The role covers the full cycle from design to review of equipment drawings, MTO/BOQ, and coordination with procurement and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 to 9 years of experience in Chemical / Petrochemical / Refinery Project designing.
• Experience in vendor development for project consultancy/design.
• Experience with grassroots level project activities.

Responsibilities

• Design plant mechanical equipment and piping with project consultant and engineering team.
• Finalise project specifications for mechanical equipment & piping per latest design standards.
• Monitor engineering deliverables and communicate to stakeholders.
• Prepare and review MTO/BOQ to facilitate procurement.
• Prepare and review equipment manufacturing drawings and GA drawings.
• Conduct project review meetings and plan countermeasures.

Role & responsibilities Work with Project consultant & Engineering team, for designing of Plant mechanical equipment and Piping requirements. Finalising Project specification for Mechanical Equipment & Piping as per latest design standards Monitoring & Tracking of Engineering Deliverables for the project Understanding and following Project design best practices Project design & consultancy on the basis of Basic Engineering Package. Monitoring the status of the project engineering (designing) and communicate the relevant information to stakeholders Preparation & Review of MTO (Material Take of) List & BOQ (Bill of Quantity) for the project, to facilitate Procurement activities Preparation & Review of Equipment Manufacturing Drawings, GA Drawings Responsible for assigned project from the initial development.
