Job summary

Mechanical System Engineer position in Pune for 7-14 years’ experience in Oil & Gas. BE/BTech/ME/MTech required; location is Pune with Mumbai considered for exceptional cases. 1 month notice preferred. Salary above 300000 INR per month with incentive.

Responsibilities include pipe sizing, P&ID development, vendor engineering, and site coordination for technical queries. Familiarity with air, gas, water and steam systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical engineering (Full time)
• Experience 7-14 years in Oil & Gas
• Location: Pune; open for Mumbai for exceptional cases

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe sizing, pump sizing, valve sizing, heat exchanger sizing.
• Develop P&ID and provide drafting in Bentley OPPID/SPPID.
• Engage in vendor pre-bid engineering and post-bid coordination.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on technical queries.
• Understand air, gas, water and steam systems listed in the scope.

Mechanical System Engineer : Exp : 7-14 years Education : BE/BTech/ME/M Tech Mechanical engineering only(Full time) Location : Preference Pune open for Mumbai for exceptional cases Notice Period : 1 month is preferred

1. 1. Can perform calculation which includes pipe sizing calculations, pipe thickness calculations, pump sizing calculation, control valve sizing calculations, heat exchanger sizing, atm. tank sizing etc.
2. 2. P&ID development and drafting in Bentley OPPID, SPPID etc.
3. 3. Vendor Pre-Bid Engineering - Equipment & commodities RFP preparation, bid clarification and bid evaluation.
4. 4. Vendor Post Bid Engineering – Review of documents and approval, coordination with Vendor and internal team, site coordination for technical queries.
5. 5. Shall have experience or familiarity on air, gas, water & steam systems, typical systems which we are looking to perform design & engineering work stated above in point 1 to 4 are listed below, candidate may not have exposure to all but open learn and understand quickly would be preferred:
