Zealwise Technologies in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer with 0–2 years of experience to join our engineering team. The role emphasizes mechanical design, drafting, and product development with a strong learning curve.

You will create 2D drawings and 3D models, support GA and manufacturing drawings, and work with sheet metal, fabrication, and assemblies under senior guidance.

About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and technically motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineers to join our growing engineering team.

The ideal candidate should have a fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and manufacturing processes, along with a strong willingness to learn and work on challenging engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D engineering drawings and 3D mechanical models.
• Assist in mechanical design and product development activities.
• Prepare General Arrangement (GA) and manufacturing drawings.
• Work on sheet metal, fabrication and mechanical assemblies.
• Assist in SPM, conveyor and material-handling equipment design.
• Understand engineering specifications and client requirements.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and follow project standards.

Required Software Knowledge:

• AutoCAD
• SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor
• Knowledge of 2D / 3D modelling and mechanical drafting.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T will be an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Good communication skills.
