Job Role Description – Product Development & Engineering Associate

Role Purpose

To support product development and engineering activities through CAD design engineering documentation, ensuring timely and quality execution under the guidance of technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CAD modeling and detailing using tools Creo/Windchill
• Develop and update 2D/3D engineering drawings

2. Documentation & Release Management

• Support drawing release processes in PLM systems
• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Support prototype/sample build processes
• Coordinate with internal teams for development execution

6. Process Compliance

• Follow defined engineering standards, checklists, and templates
• Ensure adherence to quality and documentation processes
• Works under guidance of Design Engineers / Technical Leads
• Does not independently own design concepts or final decisions
• Limited customer interaction unless assigned
• Focus on execution, coordination, and supporting activities
• Proficiency in CAD tools (Creo) and PLM systems (Windchill)
• Understanding of engineering drawings, and BOM structures
• Basic knowledge of product development lifecycle
• Attention to detail and adherence to engineering standards
