Job summary

Kohler in Pune, India, seeks a Product Design Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background and hands-on Creo Parametric experience to create 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembly.

You will collaborate across functions, perform tolerance analysis, manage ECM processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates have BE or DME in mechanical fields and 2–5 years of product design experience.

Qualifications

• B.E. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering with 2-4 years of experience in product design and development.
• D.M.E with 3-5 years of experience in product design and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design innovative mechanical products using Creo Parametric.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
• Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet industry standards and specifications.
• Maintain and update design documentation and CAD libraries.
• Manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes to ensure timely and accurate implementation of design changes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mechanical design.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Should have good communication skills.
