Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD and 2D/3D drafting tools for mechanical and electrical layouts.
• Maintenance and inspection skills for mechanical and electrical components, with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Exposure to automotive or similar industrial environments, with understanding of fabrication, assembly, and quality processes.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications, and to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented working style, with the ability to manage multiple drafting tasks and meet project timelines.
• Prior experience in transformer or electrical equipment manufacturing is an advantage but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings and layouts for transformers, stabilizers, and related equipment using CAD tools and industry standards.
• Interpret design specifications, create and revise technical drawings, coordinating with engineering and production teams.
• Ensure drawings meet quality and compliance requirements.
• Support design modifications, maintain documentation, assist in inspection-related activities.
• Provide drafting input to maintenance and product improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and supervisors to ensure accurate, timely, and manufacturable designs.

Role Description

The Mechanical & Electrical Draftsman is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad. The person in this role will prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings and layouts for transformers, stabilizers, and related equipment using CAD tools and industry standards. Typical responsibilities include interpreting design specifications, creating and revising technical drawings, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and ensuring drawings meet quality and compliance requirements.
