Job summary

Quest Global is looking for a Civil & Structural Draftsperson to prepare detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for oil & gas facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and standards-compliant design documentation while coordinating closely with engineers.

The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Plant 3D is a must. Join us to contribute to exciting projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years in oil & gas, petrochemical, EPC, or any industrial projects.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with codes and standards such as ACI318 and Eurocodes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for civil and structural components.
• Coordinate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams for design documentation.
• Produce detailed structural drawings, including foundations and steel structures.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil & Structural Draftsperson is responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for civil and structural components in oil & gas facilities such as refineries, pipelines, offshore/onshore plants, and petrochemical complexes. The role involves close coordination with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, standards-compliant design documentation.

• Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD for:
  • General arrangement (GA) drawings
  • Layouts and plans
  • Sections and elevations
• Develop 3D models and plant layouts using AutoCAD and Plant 3D
• Produce detailed structural drawings, including:
  • Foundations (pile, raft, isolated footing)
  • Steel structures (pipe racks, platforms, supports etc…)
• Concrete structure
• Preparation of bill of materials
• Preparation of as built drawings

Work Experience

Software and Tools:

• AutoCAD (2D Drafting -advanced level)
• Plant 3D (3D modeling and plant layout)
• Navis works freedom.
• Tekla structures (RCC and STEEL)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

Codes And Standards Compliance In Drafting

• ACI318, AISC360, ASCE 7-10/15/22.
• IBC.
• Euro codes.

Experience

• 10 to 15 years in oil & gas / petrochemical / EPC or any Industrial projects
