Spectrum Talent Management in Coimbatore is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to develop mechanical and structural components for hyperscale data center modules. The role requires hands-on SolidWorks expertise, with emphasis on weldments and sheet metal design.

The candidate should have 7–10 years of relevant Mechanical Design experience, strong fabrication knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure producibility and quality.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant Mechanical Design experience.
• Hands-on experience with Hyperscale Data Center Modules or similar modular structures.
• SolidWorks is mandatory.
• Weldments and Sheet Metal design are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and structural components for hyperscale data center modules.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop and modify sheet metal and weldment designs.
• Prepare accurate engineering drawings, BOMs and design documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Review designs for structural integrity, fitment, tolerances and compliance with engineering standards.
• Support design modifications, engineering changes and resolution of manufacturing-related issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer with strong expertise in mechanical and structural design for Hyperscale Data Center Modules. The candidate should have hands‑on experience in SolidWorks, with strong knowledge of Weldments and Sheet Metal design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical and structural components for hyperscale data center modules.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Develop and modify sheet metal and weldment designs.
• Prepare accurate engineering drawings, BOMs and design documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Review designs for structural integrity, fitment, tolerances and compliance with engineering standards.
• Support design modifications, engineering changes and resolution of manufacturing‑related issues.

Mandatory Skills

• 7–10 years of relevant Mechanical Design experience.

Preferred Profile

Candidates from Data Center, Modular Structures, Industrial Equipment, Fabrication, HVAC/MEP or similar engineering design environments will be preferred.
