Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical/Structural Designer to support management-driven goals for hyperscale data center modules. You will check and approve drawings, interface with teams, and ensure accuracy and safety of mechanical, piping, and structural scopes to meet customer requirements and industrial standards.

The ideal candidate has 4–9 years of relevant experience, English fluency, and hands-on SolidWorks expertise, with exposure to weldments, structures, and optional Windchill/SAP

Qualifications

• Designer must hold a Technical Certification in the design discipline.
• 4–9 years of mechanical and structural design experience for hyperscale data center modules.
• Experience with drafting, weldments and sheet metal is required.
• English language fluency is required.

• Support goals and programs set by management in the data center module projects.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

The Designer will support the goals and programs established by the management team. These roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Mechanical/ Structural Designer will be responsible for checking and approving drawings/ designs; interface communication, and ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of the mechanical, piping, and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules meets customer's requirements and Industrial Standards they produce.

Work Experience

Educational Qualification - Designer should be in possession of a Technical Certification in the design discipline.
Experience - A minimum of 4 to 9 years of experience mechanical and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules or related environment in similar industry.

Background - Structural/ Mechanical drafting/ Weldments & Sheet metal (must)

Language - Fluency in written and verbal - English
Software Knowledge - SolidWorks (Expert) - Weldments and Structures
Optional software knowledge - Windchill, SAP
