Job summary

Padink Engineering Services in Bengaluru North, India, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead equipment design across hydrometallurgy, smelting, and related domains. You will create 3D models, prepare BOMs, and ensure compliance with ISO/DIN/IS/ANSI/ASME standards while coordinating with clients and on-site teams.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years in design and a strong background in tanks, furnaces, crushers, and related equipment, with proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk

Qualifications

• B.E in Mechanical from a reputed university.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, EDM/PDM, Vault, ENOVIA PLM.

Responsibilities

• Design & engineering of equipment in Metals, Minerals, Mining, Chemicals, Power & Cement.
• Prepare Equipment 3D Models and Detail Drawings with BOM.
• Understand scope of work and technical requirements before start of work.
• Engage with EDM database & ENOVIA PLM tool.
• ECN, ECR and as-built changes.
• Prepare Equipment General Arrangement drawings.
• Maintain MOM, trackers and coordinate Onsite.

Job Description

TYPICAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design & Engineering of Equipment in Hydrometallurgy, Smelting, SAP & GC, Metals &Minerals area.
  
• Preparation of Equipment 3D Models and Detail Drawings with BOM
  
• Should be able to understand the scope of work, technical requirements/specifications, Project documentation before commencement of work
  
• Engage with EDM database & Enovia PLM tool
  
• ECN, ECR and as built changes.
  
• Preparation of Equipment General Arrangement drawings
  
• Preparing MOM, Maintaining tracker and Onsite coordination.
  
• 8 to12years of experience in Design & Engineering of Equipment in industries such as Metals, Minerals, Mining, Chemicals, Power & Cement.
  
• Experience in Design &Engineering of equipment such as Tanks, Furnaces, Crushers, Feeders, Ball Mills, Hoppers, Silos, Chutes is preferred.
  
• In depth Knowledge of Fabrication & Manufacturing process.
  
• Well verse with ISO, DIN, IS, ANSI & ASME standards.
  
• Proficient in ASME Y14.5 (GD&T).
  
• Experience working with Global Clients is an added advantage.
