Job summary

Indian Metals Solutions Private Limited in Gujarat seeks an experienced Design & Engineering professional to create 2D drawings and 3D models using Siemens NX from customer drawings and specs. You will develop manufacturing drawings for foundry, gravity die casting, forging and machining, and design patterns, dies, fixtures and tooling for production.

The role requires strong ERP skills for product codes, BOMs and routing, plus ISO documentation and PPAP support.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in Design & Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering.
• Proficient with Siemens NX for 3D modelling and 2D drawing.
• Hands-on ERP usage for product data and documentation.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Strong documentation, version control and ISO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using Siemens NX from drawings and requirements.
• Develop manufacturing drawings for foundry, gravity die casting, forging and machining.
• Design patterns, dies, fixtures and tooling; prepare stage-wise machining drawings.
• Manage drawing control, revisions, releases and production-ready drawings.
• Maintain ISO-related engineering documents and records; support PPAP and customer submissions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Management and Vendors on technical matters.
• Maintain Product Codes / Part Numbers and BOMs in ERP; ensure changes are updated.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma – Mechanical / Metallurgy

CTC: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using Siemens NX based on customer drawings and requirements
• Develop manufacturing/process drawings for foundry, gravity die casting, forging and machining
• Design and develop patterns, dies, machining fixtures and tooling
• Prepare stage-wise machining drawings for VMC, CNC and conventional machining
• Manage complete drawing control, including preparation, revision, approval, release and maintaining the latest drawings for production
• Maintain engineering documentation and records as per ISO requirements
• Create and maintain Product Codes / Part Numbers in ERP system
• Create and maintain BOM, routing and product-related master data in ERP
• Ensure engineering changes are properly updated in the ERP system and controlled documents
• Maintain ISO-related Engineering documents and records
• Manage NPD tracker and coordinate new product development activities
• Compare customer 2D drawings with 3D models and prepare technical presentations/reports
• Support sample inspection, PPAP documentation and customer submissions
• Coordinate with Quality, Production, Management and Vendors on technical matters
• Communicate with customers regarding drawings, technical clarifications and PPAP requirements
