The role focuses on learning design for manufacturability, material selection, and understanding vehicle architectures, with a path to full engineering responsibilities after training.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates with relevant degrees are eligible.
• Experience in BIW, exterior/interior trims, lighting, plastics/sheet metal design is advantageous.
• Candidates should be able to apply GD&T in technical drawings and understand automotive manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position: Automotive Product Design Engineer Trainee

Key Responsibilities

• Proficient in CAD for both 3D and 2D designs.


• Advantageous to have experience in 2-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler design, including BIW, Exterior and interior trims, Lighting, Plastics/Sheet metal design.


• Apply GD&T principles effectively in technical drawings.


• A background in the automotive industry is essential. And


• Knowledge of common automotive manufacturing processes.


• Develop strong automotive product design capability using engineering fundamentals and industry-oriented methodologies.

Technical Focus

• Mechanical engineering fundamentals applied to automotive products


• Vehicle architecture and subsystem understanding
