Qualifications

A Mechanical Draughtsman is responsible for creating detailed engineering drawings, diagrams, and plans for mechanical systems, products, and components. They will work closely with engineers and designers to translate their design concepts into technical drawings that can be used for manufacturing, assembly, and installation.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed mechanical drawings, diagrams, and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand their design concepts and technical specifications.
• Interpret and implement engineering design concepts, sketches, and drawings into detailed mechanical drawings and diagrams.
• Prepare and revise technical drawings, specifications, and procedures according to established standards and guidelines.
• Ensure that all drawings and diagrams are accurate, complete, and comply with design requirements and specifications.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOM) for mechanical components and systems.
• Review and evaluate technical drawings, designs, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct on-site visits to review and measure existing installations and structures.
• Provide technical support to engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all drawings and designs.

Requirements
