Job summary

Fabex Automation Pvt. Ltd is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to lead design projects for SPM and automation. You will develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings guided by customer specifications and SOPs, applying GD&T in SolidEdge, Creo and AutoCad.

The role requires independent work capability, strong knowledge of pneumatic systems, mechanical calculations, and fixture design. 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing/SPM/robotics is preferred, with immediate joining

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical engineering is required.
• Diploma in mechanical engineering with suitable experience is encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Design Engineer in Manufacturing/SPM/Robotics preferred.
• Expert in SolidEdge and Creo.

Responsibilities

• Taking charge of Design projects independently.
• Understanding Customer requirements.
• Design 3D Models and 2D Manufacturing Drawings with GD&T using SolidEdge, Creo and AutoCad.
• Draft parts in 2D and 3D layout.
• Good knowledge of mechanical calculations.
• Good understanding of fixture design and manufacturing.
• Design the principles of robots structure, joint mechanisms, drives, bearings, housings, casings, etc.
• General knowledge about Motors, Drives, Sensors etc.
• Good understanding of Pneumatics is must.
• Work independently or as part of a team; experience with SPM manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of Material Grades with their Mechanical Properties.

At Fabex Automation Pvt. Ltd (formerly, Fabex Engineers), we Design, Develop and Manufacture SPM (Special Purpose Machines) and Industrial Automation Machines. We are looking for a highly motivated and career oriented Mechanical Design Engineer who will have a good understanding of all design aspects and logics related to the design and manufacturing for SPM (Special Purpose Machines) and Automation and will create, draft, and design machine layouts using customer specification and recommendations according to a set Standard Operating Procedure.

The job requires a highly capable and competent design person who can work independently and when required as part of a team to:.
Work experience with a SPM manufacturing company is a preferred.
Knowledge of Material Grades with their Mechanical Properties.
