Job summary

Smart Work Consultants is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team in Madurai. The role focuses on HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing (PHE), and end-to-end project execution from design to commissioning.

You will review drawings and specifications, coordinate across stakeholders, supervise field installations, and ensure safety and quality on site. Prior MEP project experience is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing (PHE) and MEP coordination.
• Experience in design, installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution of mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in reviewing drawings, BOQs, specifications, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Plumbing (PHE) systems.
• Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Monitor schedules, material planning, and site progress.
• Prepare technical reports and quantity estimates.
• Resolve site-related technical issues and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain client communication and support handover.
