Job summary

Ecorelicent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team and drive the design, coordination and execution of mechanical systems for diverse projects. You will develop layouts, perform calculations and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

The role involves collaboration with electrical, architectural and structural teams, review of drawings, site visits and support during construction to meet quality, cost and schedule objectives.

Qualifications

• Design HVAC, ventilation, air conditioning and mechanical systems per project requirements and codes
• Prepare cooling load calculations, equipment selection, duct sizing and ventilation calculations
• Develop mechanical layouts, schematics and technical specifications
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, architectural and structural teams for integrated delivery
• Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and submittals
• Conduct site visits for inspections, progress monitoring and technical support during construction
• Resolve design and site-related engineering issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE, NBC and industry standards
• Assist in project planning, BOQ preparation, material specifications and estimation
• Support project managers in achieving quality, cost and schedule objectives
• Prepare technical reports and as-built records

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and mechanical systems for various project types.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design work for integrated delivery.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFI/technical queries.
• Support construction phase with site visits and technical guidance.
