Candidate should hold a Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and bring extensive experience in mechanical design, fabrication, and heavy engineering, with preference for cranes, industrial equipment, and structural fabrication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 35 years of experience in mechanical design, fabrication, manufacturing or heavy engineering.
• Experience with cranes, industrial equipment or structural fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Create fabrication, assembly and manufacturing drawings.
• Develop GA drawings and BOM.
• Understand customer requirements and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, quality and project teams.
• Modify drawings based on design changes and customer needs.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for manufacturing.
• Maintain drawing records and documents.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Drawing Design Engineer to prepare engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly drawings for our manufacturing products.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Prepare fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
• Create General Arrangement (GA) drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Understand customer requirements and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, quality, and project teams.
• Modify drawings based on design changes and customer requirements.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for manufacturing.
• Maintain drawing records and documents.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and assembly drawings.
• Knowledge of structural steel and sheet metal fabrication.
• Understanding of BOM and material specifications.

Educational Qualification

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

35 years of experience in mechanical design, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy engineering.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in cranes, industrial equipment, structural fabrication, or mechanical manufacturing will be preferred.
