Job summary

Saveer Biotech Limited is seeking an AutoCAD Designer with 5–6 years of hands-on mechanical design and drafting experience. You will develop accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models, BOM preparation, GD&T application, and coordinating with production and engineering teams to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Experience in creating accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Prepare accurate 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Develop sheet-metal components, weldments, machine parts, and assemblies.
• Prepare BOMs, material specifications, and component details.
• Apply GD&T, tolerances, fits, surface finish, and other engineering specifications.
• Review designs for manufacturability, functionality, and cost effectiveness.
• Modify existing designs based on production, customer, or engineering requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, and Engineering teams.
• Resolve design‑related issues during manufacturing and assembly.
• Maintain drawing revisions, design records, and technical documentation.
• Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from internal teams.
• Ensure drawings and models comply with company standards and applicable engineering practices.
• Support prototype development, testing, and product improvement activities.
• Manage multiple design projects and meet project deadlines.

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer with 5–6 years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design and drafting. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Required Technical Skills

• SolidWorks: Advanced knowledge of Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal, and Weldments.
• AutoCAD: Strong 2D drafting and detailing skills.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, laser cutting, bending, and fabrication.
• Ability to prepare and interpret BOMs and production drawings.
• Knowledge of design standards and engineering documentation.
• Good understanding of DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly).
• Ability to troubleshoot and modify designs based on manufacturing requirements.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and drafting.
• Candidates with experience in machine design, industrial equipment, automation, fabrication, or sheet‑metal products will be preferred.
