Gumpro Drilling Fluids Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for a Mechanical Draftsman to design and detail equipment for drilling and process applications in Mumbai.

You will generate GA and detailed drawings, perform 3D modelling, and prepare assembly, fabrication and part drawings for manufacturing and maintenance teams. The role requires 6–10 years of relevant experience, a mechanical engineering qualification, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Qualificações

• Experience of 6 to 10 years as a Mechanical Draftsman in equipment design, fabrication and part manufacturing.
• Diploma / ITI / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Software: AutoCAD and SolidWorks (3D modelling and detailing).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical fabrication, machining processes, engineering materials, GD&T, tolerances and welding symbols.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of GA and detailed mechanical drawings of industrial equipment.
• Preparation of 3D modelling of equipment, assemblies and individual mechanical components.
• Preparation of assembly and sub-assembly drawings.
• Preparation of detailed fabrication drawings for equipment, structures, frames, skids, tanks, hoppers and sheet-metal components.
• Preparation of individual part manufacturing drawings for machining, turning, milling and other manufacturing processes.
• Preparation of drawings with complete dimensions, tolerances, GD&T, material specifications, surface finish and welding details as applicable.
• Preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials), part lists and material take-offs.
• Preparation of drawings for shafts, housings, flanges, brackets, sleeves, bushes and other mechanical components.
• Preparation of sheet-metal development and cutting drawings.
• Modification of existing equipment drawings and reverse engineering of mechanical components.
• Incorporation of engineering changes and maintenance of drawing revisions.
• Coordination with manufacturing, fabrication, machining vendors and assembly teams to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Support at manufacturing sites for fabrication, machining, assembly and equipment modification works.
• Site visits for measurements, inspection and preparation of as-built drawings.
• Support for prototype development, new equipment development and design improvements.

Preferred candidate profile
