Job summary

Acara Solutions in Bengaluru seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in industrial automation and robotics to design, analyze and optimize automated systems.

You will work with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Gantry systems, contributing to EOAT and conveyor design while ensuring robust mechanical solutions and practical manufacturability. A 3-year service bond applies as per company policy.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD for mechanical design.
• Robotics design experience and familiarity with automation equipment.
• Hands-on work with gantry systems and pick-and-place automation.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design and automation principles.
• Experience with EOAT and conveyor system design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze components for industrial automation projects.
• Develop robust mechanical solutions for robotics and automation systems.
• Collaborate with electrical and controls teams to integrate mechanical designs.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Support testing, debugging and commissioning of automated setups.
