Job summary

Dymaxa Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Automation team in Bengaluru. You will design, develop, and validate mechanical systems for Special Purpose Machines and industrial automation projects, collaborating with engineers and managers to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions.

The role involves creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings, ensuring precision, tolerances, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Mechanical Design, preferably in Industrial Automation or SPM Machine Design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with automation engineers and project managers to develop mechanical designs for automated systems and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and animations to visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Customize and modify mechanical designs based on project requirements and customer specifications.
• Design mechanical assemblies for the integration of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Ensure precision, quality, and functionality in all mechanical designs.
• Develop designs that comply with applicable safety standards and industry regulations.
• Identify opportunities for design optimization to improve productivity, reduce costs, and minimize machine downtime.
• Design modular and scalable mechanical systems that support future expansion and modifications.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, validation, and design improvements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning teams during project execution.
• Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and revision records.
• Support installation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities whenever required.
