Job summary

Truminds Software Systems is seeking a Senior Test Engineer/Lead with 5–10 years of experience in telecom packet core testing. Location is in GGN/BLR with immediate availability. Role focuses on end-to-end call flows, 3GPP standards, and K8s/OpenStack based test setups.

Strong TCP/IP/UDP, routing protocol, and Linux skills are essential. Hands-on with Spirent, IPerf, and T-rex is required, along with scripting and automation framework experience to drive functional, security and performance

Qualifications

• Expertise knowledge on Packet core Telecom domain testing & end to end call flows.
• Review 3GPP standards, RFCs and architectural/design docs to craft test plans.
• CGNAT knowledge is a plus.
• 5GC network understanding is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Deep Packet Inspection.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, UDP, and QUIC protocols.
• Strong routing protocol knowledge: BGP, ISIS, LDP, MPLS, OSPF.
• Ability to build test setups in Kubernetes or OpenStack.
• Analyze system and simulator logs for debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Strong Linux/Unix installation and troubleshooting skills.
• Screen and interpret captures with Wireshark for lab reproduction.
• Experience in Functional, Security and Performance testing.
• Proficiency with tools such as T-rex, Spirent, IPerf.
• Strong scripting skills and hands-on automation framework experience.

Responsibilities

• Test and validate Packet Core telecom end-to-end call flows.
• Develop test plans referencing 3GPP standards and RFCs.
• Configure and run tests in Kubernetes/OpenStack environments.
• Analyze logs and traces to diagnose issues and reproduce failures.
• Execute functional, security and performance tests.
• Utilize Spirent, IPerf, T-rex and related tools for testing.
• Write scripts to automate test scenarios and reporting.

Job Description
