PeopleStrong is seeking an Executive / Sr. Executive – FA&A (Industrial Relations) to support labour management, statutory compliance, and workforce administration at a construction project site.

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Arts / Business Administration / Law – Mandatory
MBA / PG Diploma in Human Resources / Industrial Relations / Labour Welfare preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience inIndustrial Relations, labour administration, or workforce management, preferably inconstruction or infrastructure projects
Project Site
The Executive / Sr. Executive – FA&A (Industrial Relations) will be responsible forsupporting labour management, statutory compliance, and workforce administration at the construction site. The role involves maintaininglabour records, contractor documentation, and statutory compliance related to labour laws, while ensuring smooth coordination betweenlabour contractors, workers, and site management.
The candidate will work closely with theManager – FA&A (Industrial Relations) to ensure proper labour management and compliance with all statutory requirements at the project site.
Maintain records oflabour deployment and attendance for workers engaged through contractors.
Monitor dailylabour strength and workforce availability at the project site.
Assist in coordinating labour requirements withcontractors and site management.
Support the IR Manager in maintaininghealthy relations between management, contractors, and labour workforce.
Assist in addressinglabour grievances and workforce concerns at the site level.
Ensure smooth communication betweenworkers, contractors, and site management.
Maintain statutory documentation related to labour laws such as:
Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act
Payment of Wages Act
PF & ESIC compliance
Ensure contractors submit requiredlabour licenses, registrations, and compliance documents.
Verify and maintaincontractor labour records, licenses, and statutory compliance documents.
Track validity ofcontractor registrations and statutory approvals.
Maintain updated records forlabour contractors working at the project site.
Monitor availability oflabour welfare facilities at site, including accommodation, sanitation, drinking water, and medical support.
Ensure contractors comply withlabour welfare requirements and site policies.
Maintainlabour registers, contractor records, and compliance documentation.
Prepare documentation required forgovernment inspections and statutory audits.
Maintain proper records forlabour compliance verification.
Assist during visits bylabour department officials and statutory inspectors.
Ensure requireddocuments and registers are available during inspections.
Prepare reports onlabour strength, contractor compliance, and workforce records.
Provide updates to theIR Manager regarding labour administration and compliance status.
Good knowledge ofIndian labour laws and statutory compliance
Experience handlinglabour documentation and contractor compliance
Familiarity withBOCW, CLRA, PF, ESIC, and wage compliance
Proficiency inMS Excel and documentation management
Strong coordination and interpersonal skills
Ability to managelarge construction labour workforce records
Good documentation and record-keeping practices
Ability to work effectively inconstruction site environments
