Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise India Private Limited seeks a Materials Program Manager to lead cross-functional supply chain initiatives in a hybrid setup, averaging two days on-site. You will drive NPI material readiness, sourcing strategies, and cost optimization, coordinating with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure on-time launches.

The role requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience in global supplier management and BOM/ECO reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 8–10 years in materials project management or similar roles.
• Experience with NPI processes, phase gates, and product lifecycle management.
• Strong ability to manage ambiguity and drive cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

What you’ll do

1. Manages internal projects Scope ranges from simple to complex, either CM or ODM based designs Drive NPI material readiness, sourcing strategy, and COGS optimization to support on-time product launches. Manage supplier and contract manufacturer readiness, material availability, prototype builds, and production ramp. Mitigate supply chain risks, review BOMs/ECOs, and ensure supply continuity through multi-sourcing and cost optimization. Lead process improvements, collaborate across global teams, and provide regular cost, schedule, and material status updates. Manages project to ensure Supply Chain/manufacturing requirements are met and delivered on time, at the lowest cost, with quality. Identify and lead cross-functional SCO extended team members to identify, communicate and mitigate issues and risks, develop schedules and provide deliverables and documentation. Work with key internal customers to develop supply chain strategy to handle products and lead the cross-functional project team to ensure execution is aligned with the overall business objectives 3 Key Skills Strong supply chain, sourcing, procurement, and cost management expertise. Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience working with global suppliers and contract manufacturers in fast-paced NPI environments. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools; Tableau knowledge is a plus. 4. Manages stakeholder relationships Manages upper level stakeholder relationships. Communicate requirements and proactively supervise the progress, report project status and issues to internal partners, management, and extended team Represent supply chain aspects of product through entire lifecycle with support from Product Line Management (PLM), Engineering, and other functions
