  • Measure supplier performance through defined KPIs and performance processes.

Job description

Job Purpose

Execute material requirements planning across the full manufacturing resource planning horizon for selected work centers within the External Supply India CMO network, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and effectively managing slow-moving and obsolete inventory.


Maintain strong data hygiene in the ERP system and act as the primary contact point for the External Supply supplier network.


Drive the performance management process for scheduling activities to support consistent execution and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Material Planning and Availability

Maintain accurate incoming delivery data to support planned production and reliable system visibility.


Ensure material availability in line with approved material schedule requirements.


Execute weekly incoming delivery schedules to supply components required for the Production Fixed Frequency Repeating Schedule (FFRS).


Data Accuracy and Performance Management

Monitor, maintain, and ensure accuracy of all supply-critical fields in material-related data systems.


Measure supplier performance through defined KPIs and structured performance management processes.


Conduct management monitoring audits for External Supply Scheduling.


Inventory and Risk Management

Identify and mitigate stock-at-risk, working with key support functions to process inventory write-off requests where required.


Manage inventory accountability, raise Stock Adjustment Notes (SAN) for raw and packaging materials, support SLOB targets, and coordinate material transfer processes.


Supplier and Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as the primary contact for suppliers to share forward forecasts, purchase orders, and scheduling-related communications.


Serve as the key operational planning interface with functional teams to meet demand and supply objectives, resolve operational issues, and deliver in-scope materials to receiving sites.


Preferred Educational/Professional Background

Minimum qualification: Graduate in Science or B. Pharm.


Additional qualification in Commerce, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand Management, Supply Management, or Operations Management is desirable.


Good understanding of material management, scheduling, supply chain processes, and ERP systems.


Broad knowledge of planning and scheduling principles and practices, gained through relevant experience or formal qualification.


Other Job-Related Skills/Background

Advanced Excel proficiency, including the ability to analyze, manage, and present data effectively.


Strong numerical ability with sound knowledge of planning and scheduling systems.


Effective time management and prioritization skills to support timely execution of planning activities.


Ability to consolidate information from multiple sources and convert it into realistic, achievable plans.


Clear and effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners.


Agility and adaptability to respond effectively to changing supply and scheduling priorities.


Strong organizational skills to manage priorities, documentation, and follow-ups in a structured manner.
