Job summary

Siemens Energy in India is seeking an MRP Controller to manage material planning across the supply chain, ensuring component availability for the master production plan and customer commitments.

You will work with suppliers, procurement teams, production planners, and internal stakeholders to maintain delivery schedules, optimize inventory, and drive supply chain performance. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, SCM, Business Administration, Logistics or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, procurement, planning or supply chain.
  • Experience with SAP or ERP systems and knowledge of inventory management processes.
  • Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement and teamwork.

  • Manage component planning data in SAP, monitor supplier delivery performance, and respond to demand and schedule changes.
  • Lead operational engagement with suppliers, including delivery management, inventory optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Coordinate recovery plans and resolve supply shortages to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Drive process compliance, continuous improvement, and supply chain efficiency through standard systems and reporting tools.

Your role will be key in ensuring material availability, mitigating supply risks, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support operational and business objectives.

  • Create, maintain, and communicate detailed material delivery plans to support production and customer commitments.
  • Manage component planning data in SAP, monitor supplier delivery performance, and respond proactively to demand and schedule changes.
  • Lead operational engagement with suppliers, including delivery management, inventory optimization, load and capacity assessments, and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate recovery plans, resolve supply shortages, and escalation risks to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Drive process compliance, continuous improvement, and supply chain efficiency through standard systems, processes, and reporting tools.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline, with 2+ years relevant experience in manufacturing, procurement, planning, or supply chain functions.
  • Experience in material planning, production planning, inventory control, purchasing, or logistics operations.
  • Good understanding of supply chain management, supplier relationship management, scheduling, and load & capacity planning.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems and familiarity with quality systems and inventory management processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and teamwork.

The team works closely with suppliers, procurement, manufacturing, and planning functions to ensure the reliable flow of materials and services required to meet customer and production commitments.
