Job summary

Integratedcooling is seeking a Materials Master & Hazardous Materials Specialist to create, maintain and govern material master data with emphasis on hazardous materials compliance and SDS/MSDS management using SAP.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing/chemical sectors and collaboration with Engineering, EHS, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, GHS, DOT, REACH) and accurate data across the material lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in Material Master data management in manufacturing/chemical/life sciences.
• Hands-on with Hazardous Materials programs and SDS/MSDS documentation.
• Strong understanding of material classification and product data management processes.
• Experience using SAP as a business user supporting Material Master activities.
• Knowledge of hazardous material transportation, storage, labeling, and handling requirements.
• Experience with cross-functional teams including Engineering, EHS, Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

We are seeking a professional whose primary experience comes from industry operations, engineering, product stewardship, EHS, hazardous materials management, or manufacturing rather than SAP consulting. The ideal candidate understands how hazardous materials are managed throughout the product lifecycle and has used SAP as a key business system to maintain and govern material information.

As a Material Master & Hazardous Materials Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of material master data with a focus on hazardous materials compliance, Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS), product stewardship, and regulatory requirements.

This role is best suited for an engineering, manufacturing, chemical, environmental health and safety (EHS), or supply chain professional who has hands-on experience managing hazardous materials and using SAP to support material master processes.

The ideal candidate combines strong knowledge of hazardous material regulations and product data management with practical SAP end-user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing SDS/MSDS documentation and chemical compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of material classification and product data management processes.
• Experience working in SAP as a business user supporting Material Master activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with Product Stewardship or Product Compliance functions.
• Knowledge of SAP EHS, SAP Product Compliance, or SAP EHSM.
• Experience supporting S/4HANA environments.
• Understanding of global regulatory frameworks including OSHA Hazard Communication, GHS, REACH, and DOT requirements.
• Experience with master data governance programs and data quality initiatives.
