Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai, India invites an experienced Master Data Management specialist to govern Material Master data. You will ensure accurate transfer from PLM to ERP, create and migrate records, and drive data quality initiatives across Engineering, Finance, and Service.

You will support data cleansing, mass maintenance, and data migration projects, while keeping business rules up to date and maintaining clear process documentation for repeatable, compliant master data management.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM) with SAP HANA
• Hands-on data migration, BRF+ rule maintenance, and mass data processing
• Experience with data cleansing in operational contexts and in quality initiatives
• Customer-focused, capable of user support and incident management

Responsibilities

• Be the gatekeeper for Material Master creation, ensuring transfer of material data from PLM to ERP.
• Create, maintain, and migrate Material Master records with data quality in mind.
• Support data cleansing in operational contexts and data quality initiatives.
• Lead mass maintenance tasks and contribute to data migration projects (preparation/loading).
• Support maintenance of business rules within the Material Master Data domain.
• Collaborate to ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of master data.
• Provide timely master data support to Eng, MM, Finance, and Service teams.
• Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions for repeatable processes.
• Promote knowledge sharing and identify opportunities for process improvement in data management.

• Support data cleansing in an operational context as well as within broader data quality improvement initiatives.
• Fulfil mass maintenance tasks and contribute to data migration projects, including data preparation and loading.
• Support the maintenance of business rules within the Material Master Data domain.
• Work closely to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and availability of master data.
• Provide timely, consistent master data support to business users from Engineering, Material Management, Finance, Service.
• Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions, to shape up a consistent, replicable way of working.
• Promote knowledge sharing within the team, identifying opportunities for process improvement and effective master data management processes.

Your Profile

• Academic degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
