Job summary

Kenvue in Bengaluru, India invites a Specialist, Material Master Data to drive day-to-day governance of Material Master Data on a global scale. You will manage data workflows, ensure data quality, and maintain compliance with internal and external regulations, including GXP, SOX, and PII.

You will partner with IT and business teams to support audits, training, and continuous improvement across data platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute data operations and data quality processes for Material Master Data globally.
• Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for SOPs, WIs, protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy documents.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policies, including data records prepared for audits.
• Support testing, error handling, data conversion and validation, audit actions, and SLAs.
• Resolve data quality issues with cross-functional data stewards to drive sustainable processes.
• Monitor and analyze data quality; identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Engage with business partners on tactical execution and provide guidance on Master Data processes.
• Contribute to training development to educate partners on procedures and data flows.
• Participate in mid-sized projects and provide SME on data initiatives.
• Support data integration across systems/platforms and data cleansing as required.
• Assist in continuous improvement of data design, processes, and templates.
• Support deployment of Data Management Framework and governance meetings.
• Prepare metrics and dashboards to facilitate department operations.

Job description

As Specialist, Material Master Data, you will be responsible for the execution of day-to‑day operations of Material Master Data Governance on a global scale. You will manage data workflows and support robust data quality and compliance with internal and external data regulations, policies, and procedures (GXP, SOX, PII). Your work will play a key role in supporting the Kenvue Operations organization and Digital Transformation.

Responsibilities:

Execute data operations and data quality processes for Material Master Data globally.Support the creation and maintenance of documentation for the area of responsibility, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy and procedure documents.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies, including ensuring data records are thoroughly maintained in preparation for audits following established processes and protocols.Support testing, error handling, data conversion and/or validation, audit/compliance actions (Non-Conformance (NC) and/or Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Execute data issue resolution efforts, partnering with cross-functional business process owners and data stewards to remediate data quality errors and build sustainable processes to drive high levels of data quality [LR3].Monitor and analyze data quality; identify gaps and opportunities to improve data quality.Engage with business partners on tactical execution; support functional partners, providing appropriate guidance on topics relating to Master Data and processes.Contribute to the development and delivery of training to educate partners on detailed procedures, data flows, etc.Participate in mid-sized projects and provide subject matter expertise on various data-related initiatives.Support Material master related projects across IT and business functions; support integration across systems/platforms and execute data cleansing, creation, conversion, and validation as required.Support the continuous improvement of existing data design, process, and templates to deliver better business outcomes.Support the deployment of the Data Management Framework.Provide support as required for operational and governance meetings, including end‑to‑end, value capture, and third‑party reviews.Prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the department. .
