Job summary

SV Management Consultants in Ahmednagar, India, seeks a procurement and RM coordinator to plan and monitor sheet metal procurement, coordinate with suppliers, and manage RM records to ensure on-time delivery.

The role focuses on accurate material grades and specs, minimizing stockouts, and supporting cost reduction through close collaboration with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RM requirements based on production plans, BOM, and inventory levels.
• Plan and monitor procurement of sheet metal (MS, SS, GI, Aluminium).
• Generate and follow up on PR/PO for required materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers on price, quantity, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Track open POs and in-transit materials to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor RM stock and maintain minimum/maximum inventory levels.
• Coordinate with warehouse for GRN, receipt, identification, and storage.
• Coordinate with Quality for incoming inspection, MTC verification, and release of materials.
• Ensure correct grade, thickness, size, and specification of sheet metal.
• Monitor material consumption, shortages, excess stock, and scrap/wastage.
• Maintain RM-related records and reports in SAP/Excel.
• Follow up on supplier delays, quality issues, shortages, and replacements.
• Support cost reduction, inventory optimization, and supplier development.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Finance.
