Job summary

Simply Solve is seeking a Mastercam specialist to provide pre-sales technical support, demonstrations, and POC programming to help customers evaluate Mastercam offerings.

The role includes post-sales onboarding and training across multiple Mastercam modules, both on-site and remotely, with ongoing collaboration with the sales team to close new business and expand adoption in existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Provide pre-sales technical support including software demonstrations and POC programming.
• Deliver post-sales onboarding, implementation and training on Mastercam modules.
• Test new Mastercam releases and relay customer feedback to product team.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support, including software demonstrations, proof-of-concept programming, and benchmark part testing to help prospective customers evaluate Mastercam.
• Deliver post-sales onboarding, implementation, and training both on-site and remote/virtual covering Mastercam Mill, Lathe, Turn-Mill, Mill-Turn, Router, Wire, and/or Multi-axis modules as applicable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported technical issues involving toolpaths, post-processors, machine simulation, and software configuration.
• Analyze customer workflows and manufacturing processes, recommending programming strategies.
• Support and lead in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and user group meetings, developing training materials and sample parts as needed.
• Collaborate with the sales team on proposals, quotes, and technical demonstrations to close new business and expand adoption within existing accounts.
• Test new Mastercam releases, updates, and features prior to deployment; relay customer feedback and enhancement requests to the product development team.
• Stay current on CNC machining trends, multi-axis strategies, tooling, and competitive CAM software to maintain credibility as a subject-matter expert.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer site visits.
