Experienced CNC/VMC Programmer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise in programming on MASTRCAM Software, setting, and optimizing machining operations on CNC and VMC machines. Skilled in developing efficient machining strategies, reducing cycle time, and ensuring high-quality production as per engineering specifications.
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and M-code. Create toolpaths using CAM software such as Mastercam. Interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for machining operations. Perform multi-axis programming and ensure error-free simulation before execution.
Set up jobs independently including fixture alignment, work offsets, and tool setting. Select appropriate cutting tools and optimize machining parameters. Handle different materials like MS, SS, Aluminum, Brass, and Cast Iron.
Analyze machining processes to reduce cycle time and increase output. Implement Kaizen and Lean techniques. Reduce tool wear and scrap through optimization.
