Job summary

Malabar Gold & Diamonds in Kottayam invites a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing plan and align store targets with the overall business goals across locations.

The role involves driving sales targets through the marketing team, supervising MTMs, coordinating with Sales for new customer acquisition, following up on leads, and building a strong customer network; food and accommodation are provided, and salary with incentives is attractive.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Plan: create overall business development plan for finalizing marketing calendar and schedule in stores aligning with targets.
• Create individual business development targets ensuring that overall targets are met.
• Achieve sales targets set by the organization and generate revenue through the Marketing Team.
• Supervise all marketing MTMs and motivate, manage and train subordinates to close the target.
• Drive new customer acquisition in coordination with Marketing and Sales team.
• Conduct follow ups on addresses collected from prospective customers and other related businesses to generate leads.
• Collect pre-purchase data, store footfall count, reasons for non-conversion and update the system timely.
• Ensure leads are assigned to different business development executives based on location.
• Collect leads from marketing executives/Sales team and other sources and report to superiors.
• Verify reports of marketing staff and cross check authenticity by follow up calls to prospective customers.

Role & responsibilities :-

Marketing Plan

• 1.To create the overall business development plan for finalizing marketing calendar and schedule in the stores ensuring alignment with the overall stores target.
• 2. To create individual business development target ensuring that the overall targets are met.

Functional Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for achieving sales targets set by the organization and generate revenue through the Marketing Team.
• 2. Supervise all marketing MTMs and motivate, manage and train the subordinates to close the target.

• 4. Conduct follow ups on all addresses collected from prospective customers, DNF Data & other related businesses (wedding related agencies, event management, beauty salons, etc.)and build a good relationship to generate leads.
• 5. Collect pre-purchase data, store footfall count, reasons for non conversion and ensure its timely update in the system.
• 6. Ensure that the leads are assigned to different business development executives based on their location.
• 7. Collect leads from marketing executives/Sales team and other different sources of prospective weddings and develop a database of potential customers to report to superiors.
• 8. Verify reports of the marketing staff and cross check the authenticity by making follow up calls to the prospective customers
