Our Bangalore office is expanding its Maritime team, and we are looking for a talented BIM Modeler to join us. You will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, working on some of the most exciting global infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and detailed 3D bridge models using Autodesk Revit Structure and other BIM tools.
- Create and manage Revit families including parametric, nested, and type catalogue-based components.
- Perform model checks for completeness, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, modelling standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with Maritime & Aviation engineers, architects, Planner and MEP teams to resolve design coordination issues.
- Support the preparation of construction documentation and drawing extractions from BIM models.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of BIM workflows and best practices.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary models using Navisworks or similar software.
- Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within the team.
Candidate Specification
- Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- EngTech TMICE or similar would be an advantage
Essential skills and experience
- 8–12 years of experience in the Transport industry, with a focus on Maritime or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of BIM processes, model-based delivery, and digital collaboration
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation, OpenBuilding Design or Tekla
- Knowledge of Navisworks Manage (or similar) coordination/review tools
- Experience on international projects and standards
