Job summary

Mott MacDonald India seeks an experienced BIM modeller/engineer to develop models and drawings for energy and infrastructure projects across Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Noida. You will take-off quantities, detailing and ensure documentation meets client requirements.

With 3–10 years of modelling experience, you will lead QC, standardize workflows, and coordinate with BIM coordinators and project managers. Proficiency in CADS RC, Revit and AutoCAD is essential.

Qualifications

• ITI in engineering discipline with diploma/degree as added advantage.
• 3–10 years of modelling and detailing experience.
• Energy/power project experience a plus.
• Proficient in 2D/3D modelling using CADS RC; hands-on with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

Job description

Position location: Mumbai, Ahemdabad, Noida

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing models and drawings, quantities take off/ Schedules
• Understanding client requirements and standards for developing models, details and drawings.
• Ensuring QC process is being followed, delivery to the right quality and timelines
• Standardizing workflows based on the project requirements and managing electronic information
• Coordination with BIM coordinators and Project Managers
• Promotes standardization of components and processes

Candidate Specification:

• ITI in respective Engineering discipline. Diploma/Degree will be an added advantage.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in the field of Modelling and detailing.
• Experience in Energy/power projects would be an advantage
• Experience in other sector can be considered if the candidate has expertise in modelling and detailing of RCC and structural steel structures.
• Should be well conversant with 2D/3D modelling using CADS RC. Must have handson experience on Revit & Autocad.
• Should be technology focused and understand industry developments.
• Should be able to guide, troubleshoot and train team members to perform varied levels of development in BIM projects and drive outcomes
• Should be able to assist in Modelling and Extraction of deliverables
• Good communication skills and leadership skills
• A professional attitude towards work and self-motivated
• Be a team player and have multi-disciplinary co-ordination skill
