Job summary

Eurasia Travel Services Pvt Ltd in Mumbai is seeking an experienced After Office Hours Marine Travel Consultant to provide critical travel support for global marine operations. You will manage bookings for marine crew across time zones and ensure cost-effective itineraries.

The role requires hands-on use of Galileo and Amadeus GDS, a strong focus on accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a marine travel agency or marine travel environment.
• Experience handling marine crew travel bookings and multi-national crew movements.
• Knowledge of international flight reservations, ticketing, and airline fare rules.
• Hands-on experience with Galileo GDS and Amadeus GDS.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and manage domestic and international travel bookings for marine crew members.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor complex itineraries for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide after-hours travel support to vessels, crew managers, and stakeholders across time zones.
• Issue, reissue, exchange, and refund airline tickets in line with policies.
• Coordinate crew change travel arrangements while maintaining operational support.
• Assist with visa requirements, transit regulations, and seafarer documentation.
• Liaise with airlines, travel partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate booking records and adhere to procedures and service standards.

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused After Office Hours (AOH) Marine Travel Consultant to join our team in Mumbai and provide critical travel support for global marine operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and manage domestic and international travel bookings for marine crew members of multiple nationalities.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor complex travel itineraries, ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Handle urgent, last-minute, and emergency travel requirements with minimal supervision.
• Issue, reissue, exchange, and refund airline tickets in accordance with airline policies and client requirements.
• Provide after-hours travel support to vessels, crew managers, and stakeholders across different time zones.
• Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, routing restrictions, and ticketing procedures.
• Coordinate crew change travel arrangements while maintaining uninterrupted operational support.
• Assist with visa-related travel requirements, transit regulations, and seafarer documentation.
• Liaise effectively with airlines, travel partners, agents, and internal stakeholders to resolve travel issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate booking records and ensure adherence to company procedures and service standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in a marine travel agency or marine travel environment.

Proven experience handling:

• Marine crew travel bookings
• Multi-national crew movements
• International flight reservations and ticketing

Strong knowledge of:

• Airline fare construction and routing
• Ticket issuance, reissues, refunds, and exchanges
• Travel documentation requirements

Hands-on experience with:

• Galileo GDS
• Amadeus GDS

Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Ability to:

• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Meet strict deadlines and service-level expectations

Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required for after-office-hours operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing marine crew changes and offshore travel requirements.
• Familiarity with visa processing, immigration regulations, and seafarer travel documentation.
• Knowledge of maritime industry travel procedures and global crew logistics.
