- Conduct time & motion studies and identify process bottlenecks.
- Production and planning control based on customer demand.
- Monitor production cycle time, output, and productivity.
- Coordinate weekly/monthly raw material requirements with Supply Chain.
- Identify and reduce Non-Value Added (NVA) activities.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and improve productivity.
- Develop and optimize production layouts and material flow.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and improve OEE and OLE.
- Support and implement TPS activities.
- Track daily production plan vs. actual performance and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure production cycle times meet defined standards.
- Maintain costing files for block and non-block products.
- Prepare daily production reports, MIS, and performance dashboards.
- Interpret engineering drawings for process planning.
- Implement and sustain Kanban and other Lean tools.
- Participate in MSE internal audits across manufacturing plants.
Preferred candidate profile
- Candidates with experience in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Systems Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Time & Motion Study, Cycle Time Analysis, Productivity Improvement, and Process Improvement.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, OEE, OLE, and Kanban.
- Good understanding of Production Planning, Layout Planning, Material Flow, and Costing.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing processes and identify NVA activities and bottlenecks.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MIS, dashboards, and production performance analysis.
- Candidates from the automotive / auto-components / manufacturing industry will be preferred.
- Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
