Job description

• Role Purpose:
• The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day factory operations production planning manpower management quality compliance and timely execution of manufacturing activities. The role will act as the second-in-command to the Factory Manager and ensure smooth factory operations while supporting business growth capacity expansion and process excellence initiatives.
• 1) Production Operations:
• Ensure daily production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
• Monitor manufacturing activities related to Link Boxes Clamps Cleats and other cable accessory products.
• Coordinate with Production
• Quality
• Stores and Dispatch teams for seamless execution.
• Minimize production downtime and ensure optimal utilization of machines and manpower.
• Maintain production records and reports.
• 2) Production Planning & Control:
• Monitor and assist in preparing weekly and monthly production schedules.
• Track work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with Stores and Purchase departments.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.
• 3) Manpower Management:
• Supervise shop-floor personnel and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor attendance discipline and productivity of factory employees.
• Conduct daily production meetings and communicate operational priorities.
• Support training and skill development of workmen and operators.
• 4) Quality Management:
• Ensure adherence to approved quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Work closely with the Quality team to reduce rejection and rework.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• 5) Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations factory rules and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain housekeeping standards.
