Sandhar Technologies is seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to oversee daily plant operations and drive lean improvements. The role focuses on achieving production schedules, safety, and quality targets across assembly lines in an automotive manufacturing environment.

The position requires deep expertise in lean methods, Six Sigma, and TPM, as well as strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor diverse cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years in automotive manufacturing
• at least 5 years in a leadership role handling electronics manufacturing
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TPM practices

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety norms.
• Drive production efficiency and reduce operational downtime through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and other relevant automotive standards.

2. Technical Leadership

Lead manufacturing processes for Assembly Line

3. People Management

• Lead and mentor production managers, engineers, and shop-floor teams to achieve operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety awareness.

4. Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Implement Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Monitor customer feedback and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence of defects.

5. Cost Control & Resource Optimization

• Manage budgets for production, maintenance, and manpower effectively.
• Optimize machine utilization, reduce wastage, and improve yield rates.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 15-20 years in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role handling electronics manufacturing
